Important status
This privacy policy is a working placeholder and needs legal review before launch. It describes the intended product data model but does not replace a reviewed privacy notice.
Intended data handling
DataLicenser expects to process account identity, contact information, subscription records, connected-property configuration, crawler decision telemetry, licensing-workflow records, and support communications to provide the service.
Exposure Scanner
The scanner processes a domain submitted by an authorized user, retrieves robots.txt, and makes limited requests to the root URL using configured crawler identities. Scan results and response page content are not intended to be persisted or published. Operational security logs may record request metadata such as time, client IP, and outcome for abuse prevention.
Product telemetry
The standard event model is intended to exclude page bodies, visitor cookies, query strings, and unrelated human traffic. It records access-decision metadata needed for enforcement, audit, publisher reporting, and lab-side usage reconciliation.
Direct licensing records
When a publisher and AI lab enter a licensing workflow, DataLicenser expects to process the parties’ business identities, approved content scope, permitted use, deal status, technical credentials, and verified usage records. Publisher content is delivered only where an active agreement authorizes it.
Retention, processors, and rights
Final retention periods, subprocessors, international-transfer terms, controller/processor roles, user-rights procedures, and regional disclosures will be inserted after legal and infrastructure review.
